  • Dave Neiwert spells it out: Ted Nugent is a fascist traitor. Not really news. Nor is it news that he is also a has been hack still foraging out of his long ago emptied bag of mediocre rock and roll masturbation angst, never coming even close in thirty years of strumming a guitar to anything near “a rock and roll rebel” or actually producing anything of even marginal relevance to the great history of rock music. The proof is in the pudding, and “Wang Dang Sweet Poon Tang” just ain’t got the mojo to make up for this guys lack of anything truly rock inspired. The man is a three time loser. A marginal catelogue of anthems for the tween set and two of the worst bands to ever grace a stage. Consider that not only was Ted a member of the world’s first most lame “super group”, Damn Yankees, which on its own meets the requirements to ensure the ridicule that history will surely lay at his feet, Ted was also a member of the world’s second most worst “super group” the “Menudo meets The Real World” reality show super group Damnocracy? (Obviously, putting ‘damn’ in the name of his bands is some type of rebellious statement. I’m awed.) I am proud to say that I’ve never owned a single one of Ted’s albums. And, I own literally thousands. Imagine that.
