of mass delusions

  • Jason at EvolutionBlog puts the thumb screws to David Limbaugh’s nonsense entitled “Leftist Thought Control”. Oh, if only it were true.
  • Avedon notes that the situation in Iraq doesn’t pass the Will Rogers Test:
“Are people trying to get in? Or are they trying to get out?” And it’s all our fault. Fred Clark says the Bush administration’s refusal to take on the refugee burden is unacceptable: “This wall, and the division and separation of the people of Iraq it symbolizes, is deeply troublesome. It suggests that the current flood of Iraqi refugees — already perhaps the “most severe refugee crisis on the planet” Jamail says — is likely to increase dramatically. And it is likely to do so regardless of whether American forces stay or go, surge or redeploy.

  • Noun Trouble: Curt over at Floppging Aces appears not to be able to discern properly the meaning and proper use of the term “Bush Administration” or “Administration” being defined as the executive branch that is lead by President Bush.

In the myopic paranoid world of Flopping Aces, Dear Leader is somehow disconnected from the Administration that bares his name. Since up is down and down is up in wingnuttia, it means that using the term: Administration Withheld E-Mails About Rove can be interpreted as: Wow, Bush withheld documents?

Such are the magical jumps in logic and basic word comprehension that manifest themselves in the world of wingnuttia. Breath taking isn’t it?
