CNN host Glenn Beck parrots the words of psychotic Travis Bickle, made famous by Robert DeNiro in the film Taxi Driver.
From Beck’s CNN show, discussing the possibility of a hurricane striking New York City with guest Chris Landsea from the National Hurricane Center:
LANDSEA: New York is extremely vulnerable, too, if a hurricane strikes just west of them and funnels all that water just north along Long Island into the city itself. They could have 20 to 25 feet of storm surge.
BECK: Actually, that would clean the streets out. It might not be bad. (emphasis added)
The famous line from loser psychotic would be assassin turned hero Travis Bickle:
Some day a real rain will come and wash all this scum off the streets.
