  • As ever, it is time once again to ask: Remember Anthrax? Atrios asked last month (linking to AmericaBlog) and The Carpetbagger Report keeps Anthrax on the menu as well. The BBC’s Newsnight still remains one of the only comprehensive investigations of this matter that I’m aware of.

  • Headline from Hell and Dipshit of the Week: Nonlethal weapons touted for use on U.S. citizens:
    “If we’re not willing to use it here against our fellow citizens, then we should not be willing to use it in a wartime situation,” said Wynne. “(Because) if I hit somebody with a nonlethal weapon and they claim that it injured them in a way that was not intended, I think that I would be vilified in the world press.”

    Cause, the US press would just roll over and wait for their balls to be tickled by a microwave weapon, no doubt.
