Tattoo You is one of the more forgotten Stonees albums in many ways. It had two big hits, “Start Me Up” and “Waiting on a Friend” (with Sly and Robby in the video no less on a stoop on St. Marks Place) but I’ve always thought that the less known songs on it were some of the best the Glimmer Twins ever wrote and recorded.
