Not too different from this rhetoric which we’ve all seen repeated over and over:
As our troops fight a ruthless enemy determined to destroy our way of life, they deserve to know that their elected leaders who voted to send them into war continue to stand behind them.
To the average wingnut, anyone who disagrees with them is the enemy. And, that includes their fellow citizens. Remember that.
